To find a teenager to play a teenager? Main character is very pretty, but at many angles it was obvious she was in her mid to late 20s and at least a decade older than the character she was playing.

To make a movie that makes sense? Like what would be the motive for the main character to kill her friend? Oh yeah, there isn't one so of course the makes her a suspect despite the DNA that would be all over the place from the dude.

Check an alibi? Talk to any of the hundreds of people who would have seen her friend walk off with that guy or talk to the guy the main character was with.

Overall super stupid movie.

im watching it right now as well lol and yeah i am thinking the same exact things as you....this is one the most unrealistic life time movies to date....how about check the clubs surveillance cams? you mean to tell me in the whole time she was with the killer not one cam picked them up together? ffs...i could do better detective work than these bozos.

Thanks, I realized I was wasting more time on the movie and just quit after three things, but security cameras would be another good one to check. It's like they intentionally made a movie that is as stupid as possible.

Oh well, have to sift through a lot of rough to find the diamond.

it just ended now...the DA agreed to drop all the charges on holly pending she spends time with them to teach them how she hacked their firewall O_o...and the college the teacher worked at gave holly a full scholarship for outting that the teacher was really a reg.sex offender who changed his name...can u say cheese???

It's not really unrealistic bc that is how cops operate. That's why there r so many people who r unfairly and wrongly accused in jail. All cops want to do is look at the least amount of evidence and close a case. They rarely care about the truth. And actually it's the same with lawyers. They just collect evidence to make you look guilt even if there is other evidence that proves the opposite. The only time they try to collect evidence to exonerate you is if ur rich or they like u.
