EVERY single time he appeared on screen I wanted to punch him in his f'ing face!!! Now maybe that's good acting, but very rarely have I wanted a character to die as much as Eddie. If I was the other kid's father I would have killed him and did the time just so I could never hear his voice again...

Usually I prefer to torture some a** man. But, especially for Eddie I would like him to get shot in an instant.

I was going to make a new post about Eddie but figured since this one is good to just add to it.

I just paused it at the night club when they come in with the 2 girls. He has to be the biggest douche bag I have seen on screen since Burke in Aliens This guy made me want to punch him in the face every time I saw his face. Like you said probably just a combo of great acting and writing, but damn man.
When he says he stole it from the money place he works at. I almost died. WTF man?

Ugh I hate this character I am hoping and praying he gets tortured or something before the movie ends.

Eddie was semi-retarded, short-bus material, so at least he had an excuse. Could not possibly have had a working IQ over 50. Which is moron level I believe.

The other idiots in the film (just about every character FWIW), did not even have that excuse-

They had IQs in the 80 area, and had no excuse for the supreme stupidity of which they exhibited.

Chris should've shot him when he came in through the ceiling - he could've just said that he was acting in self-defense (saw a burglar and shot him) and that would've been that.

The best part of this movie was The Rock's muscles

I kept wondering if Eddie had a mental problem. If he's retarded or semi-retarded, that would explain it. He kept blabbing about about things that normal people would want to keep quiet. Yes, I found him thoroughly annoying. Where is the real life Eddie now? Institutionalized?
