Things I learned from watching 'Empire State'

1) If my dad was a foot shorter I could have looked like Liam Hemsworth, because apparently if both your parents are 5 feet tall with brown eyes, olive skin, and black hair. Odds are you will be 6'5 ft, blonde, and have blue eyes.

2) If you know someone that can't keep their mouth shut, has a criminal record, and has mob connections that can ruin your life....then this must be the only person that you should confide with after stealing $25,000 from your workplace.

3) If your deaf dog has insomnia just shoot a gun next to it. It is a scientifically proven method of causing 8 hours of deep sleep.

4) If you have spent your entire life in New York and all your family, friends, and acquaintances have New York accents; odds are you will not.

5) If you have a gun and your best friend is about to get killed right before your eyes; don't shoot. But if you have a gun and the only detective that could ever bring you down for the heist you are about to commit that could put you in jail for decades is fighting for his life....shoot.

6) Never bring champagne to a cocaine party.
