Guys like Eddie do exist

I see a lot of people posting that characters like Eddie are too over the top and do not exist in real life.
I've met guys like this, guys that never shut up and seem to have a screw loose. I wouldn't hang around with them, because I find guys like that annoying and frustrating, however they are out there.
Dewayne Johnson seems completely out of place and miscast, and there are several poorly written scenes, however there are definately guys this stupid out there. There are criminals as stupid as all of these guys out there.

Of course people like that exist and they ruin the worst parts of real life the same way they ruin bad movies.

I think it was mostly the folks that make sure and finish all the movies they start that were terribly offended by this character. No reason to torture the only people that are going to finish watching this turd.

I nearly stopped watching it because of him. He was so stupid.

Yeah I was wondering if anyone thought the same. Good actor but seemed misplaced for this movie. I thought it was a movie about drugs because he acts like a typical movie crackhead. But then listening to his dialogue I think it was the direction. He and Chris(Liam) did not have chemistry to me.

I don't know who the real retard was, Eddie or Chris... Probably both.
