The movie flopped because that facts in this movie is all wrong.

Everyone knows that the Yamashita Treasure was buried in the Philippines. The late President Marcos found a fraction of it and some of it are still out there. There were even an instance when the "Aeta" tribe went down the mountains where they live and traded golden stuff like a mini buddha to the cityfolks so that they could buy food and go back to the mountains. When asked where they got the gold they wouldn't divulge.

Who cares about the facts with a stupid film like this. Bring on the gore.

The film flopped because it was cliched, predictable and wasn't scary in the least. The actors had very little chemistry between them and looked like they very struggling to convey any kind of emotion.

They were stereotyped to a fault, the rugged mercenary, the committed officer, the compassionate smart heroine, the other woman a complete opposite, the rich man, the musclehead, the good looking soldier and the no-nonsense one. This thing might have worked three decades ago but not in this day and age with a jaded audience.

To be fair, the muzzled mutants and the armoured soldiers looked proper but not the old soldier.

The one dude you could hear breathing out of his nose every time it was quiet got on my nerves...

The movie flopped because it sucked, end of. I mean, maybe I had a different copy to the rest of you, but what happened to the rich guy who got injected the gold stuff and then killed his girlfriend? And what about the nice ex soldier after he dives into the water? Sloppy and rushed ending...

Speak for yourself nincomtard.

You know why Transformers flopped? because they're not real.
Oh wait, it didn't flop... maybe people don't care?

The ending was so rushed that it was plain stupid. Nothing on 'nice' ex soldier and the rich guy turned zombie thingy also... looked like they ran out of the 5 bucks they had as budget... the film imo was ok... nothing fantastic but acceptable. I mean, I watched it eating pizza and having a beer on a Friday evening... so, it was ok :) The cave walls were crap. The old guy was as fake as the cave walls... and as I said, the end was too rushed and left many bits out.

".. looked like they ran out of the 5 bucks they had as budget"

Lmfao!! Honestly though!

Anyways, they addressed this in the film. They talked about how everyone thinks the gold was in the Philippines but they found this lost paperwork saying most of the gold was sent to this secret base.

You do realize this a work of fiction right? Try not to take it so seriously, no one cares.
