So that scene w/the lawyer, Brad and Emma (Spoiler)

it was a set up especially when Emma brought up about "what if we were to divorce"? - The lawyer (and long time friend of Emma who was genuinely concerned for her) he actually knew by then just what Brad has been up to and was in on "the plan" w/Brittney and Emma the whole time, kind of like a "karma" thing for Brad; he deserved EVERYTHING HE GOT and I'm happy Brit had told Emma just what her husband was actually up to - Brit didn't like when Brad suggested that they needed to kill Emma because things weren't going according to plan for him - SO FREAKING HAPPY that Brit told Emma the truth about her "devoted concerned hubby" YEAH RIGHT! so they made a "plan to make him crazy"- FANTASTIC !!! Sorry been awhile since I have watched this movie ...

Just a question/observation, though: Brad mentioned that "her name is different" on the papers, and the lawyer said that she "has 2 last names"...Was that so that they could claim the contract (the one that they signed) null and void in the end?

And how ironic was it that her father was "a stickler for the sanctity of marriage" when he killed his wife

Not very ironic... That's why he killed his wife. Would rather do that then divorce her.
