how long does it take to complete

the game roughly for an average player

Heard it takes about 5 hours, so the Skyfall DLC should add another hour to that I guess. Heard critics complaining it just ends after the Moonraker level but that is because they cannot release Skyfall as yet as film not out.

It took me around 6 hours to complete, which is rather short for a video game today.

Levels are broke down as follows:

Goldfinger - Prologue (Miami, Florida, USA)
Goldfinger - Auric Enterprises (Switzerland)
Goldfinger - Assault on Fort Knox (Kentucky, USA)

On Her Majesty's Secret Service - Alpine Valley Chase (The Alps)
On Her Majesty's Secret Service - Piz Gloria Battle (The Alps)

Licence to Kill - Refinery Battle (Mexico)
Licence to Kill - Tanker Chase (Mexico)

Die Another Day - Ice Palace (Iceland)
Die Another Day - Biodome (Iceland)

Moonraker - Drax Enterprises
Moonraker - Space Station Battle

Skyfall mission will be available for download the second week of November 2012, presumably with two missions.

The game was fun, but I expected there to some sort of story interlocking the missions, but insted you complete one mission and then start the next. Also there was a lot cut from the movies that would have allowed for more levels.

Licence to Kill has you starting at the Refinery with no levels prior to this part of the story (there is a cutscene setting up the attack on Felix Leiter).

Several key parts of the films were reimagined for this game as well:

Goldfinger (Pussy Galore turns at Switzerland, there is no chase through the forest, instead you escape from Auric Enterpises and a jet stops you.

On Her Majesty's Secret Service (The final fight with Blofeld takes place inside a cable car, there is no bobsled chase; also there is a sequence where Tracy is chased by snowmobiles while you follow in skis)

Licence to Kill (Pam Bouvier pretends to be joining Sanchez's organisation while you infiltrate the facility)

Die Another Day (most similar to the film, but Zao is the one attempting to kill Jinx with lasers unlike the film which saw Mr. Kil)

Moonraker (No sequences in Brazil, the facility where Bond discovers the nerve gas is in an unknown location, also there is no Dolly and Jaws is convinced to rebel by Bond telling him that Drax will dispose of him.)

Thanks for the all the info - I got a couple of questions - How many of the levels are stealth levels - Is it forced? as in can you go all out action or are you forced to be stealthy? and if yes to the last question are they hard or frustating?

reply

You can always utilise stealth but there are about 1 per film where it is forced. Again I don't think these are as bad as some reviewers are making out.

I would give the game about 6 or 7 out of 10. I am enjoying it but preferred QOS and Goldeneye. Bloodstone was quite good too. Hope Daniel Craig comes back for the Skyfall DLC.

The game is quite short. It's fun in parts. I liked the OHMSS section the best, though that may be because that one is my favourite film.

Some sections are greatly edited. Wayne Newton's character is not mentioned at all in Licence to Kill. Instead Pam Bouvier goes and talks to Sanchez while you infiltrate his temple refinery.

Skyfall only has the beginning of the film, in Istanbul, and the Shanghai glass factory fight with Patrice. Silva is not seen or mentioned.
