Bill Murray - A Giant!!

God I go back with Bill Murray, "Stripes", "Caddyshack", killer films! Great films! Like Cher, (Sly Stallone ???) a Star!! Big Star!! Bill's got the magic, always so special on film. The Coppla movie shot in Japan ("Lost in Translation"??) Bill nailed it. He always does.. Just point the camera at him, I'll sit and watch and watch. (He's ugly as a mud fence!!) BUT he's got it!! Bill Murray never works at it. He just is!! (Very Zen Ha Ha) This St. Vicent film is so well written! Bill Murray must have loved every minute. God Bless You Bill. I'll be there for the next one. John

I really enjoy how Bill Murray has evolved his acting career. When I was a child, Stripes and Caddyshack for the win. Now Vin is right up my alley.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.

In Murry we trust

I remember him as "Todd" with Gilda Radner on SNL in the old days, and Stripes and Caddyshack are classics to me. Probably more than any else SNL alum, he has grown and evolved. That probably he is so loved.

"Vote for Todd. He's like a God."

Too many actors who switch back and forth from comedy to drama are either funny or serious but not both. Bill Murray can be both. I thought he was brilliant in this.

I too remember well when Bill Murray was on SNL and the show was actually hilarious. "There's nobody like him, never was, never will be." (That's a quote from the Rolling Stone review of this film.)

I adored Murray from the first, and it makes me happy he is so well appreciated in this country.

If you can find it, find "The Razors Edge"

You don't have to stand tall, but you do have to stand up!

Add notable performances in MadDog and Glory, Groundhog day, broken flowers...among others.

Turned on television after a long, very early, hot day, in my rose garden & caught the end of this on Showtime, but I was cooking & other things. I am watching it on demand. I love Bill Murray! I've seen more than half & will rate it 9.
