Chris O'Dowd was real star of film!

The ace of the whole cast was Chris O’Dowd; and his performance was on hand as the top card of this deck! Chris had a small but key character role in film; they did however stack his part with the funniest lines, and he clearly made the best use of what he had. Despite the meager time allotted his character, he stole the movie right out from under them!

I agree!

I feel the same way about him in "Bridesmaids". He was my favorite character in that movie.

He has such an attractive quality about him, and can bring both comedy and seriousness to a role.

Though it might be a cliché, the accent doesn't hurt. :-)

The only thing I hated about him in "Bridesmaids" was he had a few moments of "me accent's slipping" since his character is supposed to be American as far as I know. I also enjoyed him in "The Sapphires"(where he has a much more prominent role than in this or "Bridesmaids").

That's very true about the accent, MadSimian.

I haven't seen "The Sapphires"-- it's now on my list! :-)
