Oh....dear god.....no.....make it stop

2 minutes into this film I wanted to self harm, it was so horrible. After years of watching *beep* obscure cult films I have admittedly built up a high tolerance level to the kind of 'entertainment' that has led to me never been asked by my friends, to pick a film for movie night. I can usually find elements I like in most things I watch, this has been the first film in a long time that even I could not defend. The only thing it succeeded in was making me feel angry and almost turning me off playing video games for life.

It actually gets a lot better as the movie goes on. At around 40 minutes it even starts getting good. I too thought this movie was utterly ridiculous during the first 10 minutes.

Oh, I did watch it through to the end (?), I just thought it was so uncomfortable and embarrassingly cringe-worthy to watch. Like an episode of The Office (UK) but without any payoff. On the plus side, the production values were decent, and the blonde girl was cute.

I agree it was terrible, it not even worth downloading for free, the acting was terrible, its like the director did not even care, none of those kids could act or was even likeable, throw in a few hot chicks, 1 hero, a few villains and there you have it, plus special effect were even worse, and what the point playing with life like guns if they don't respond like real guns, they should of just use laser zap gun.

When I first watched it I kept cringing because it is just like those corny Disney Channel movies made in the late 90s early 2000s, but it actually grew on me.

I dont see how you guys could expect a movie about gaming to not suck? I myself am a huge gamer but no one knows what gaming is besides gamers. My first question is why are the students teaching each other? Also why are there more hot girls than ugly ones?

There are very very few hot gamer girls... Also why is the "Law" considered the best looking guy in the school plus the best gamer and ect.

I could seem maybe a few hundred gamer girls that are actually hot like the main female... But for them to be able to compete on an elite level with the world. Really? Come on...

It was a decent indy movie. Not great but watchable.

reply

Okay so you are a huge gamer...how many ugly girls do you see in video games? This movies was not the best, but they stereotypes were spot on. Made me laugh a few times.

reply

In video games? very few. But realistically there are not many great hot female gamers like this movie showed. The school should have been 99% guys with maybe a few girls. But with that small % of girls that could actually get into school what are the chances hot girls would be at that level and go to this video game school and give up a real education.
