To all of the people that thought this movie was stupid:

What the *beep* did you expect? The first movie was about a bunch of inept wannabe criminals that try to kill their bosses and this one picks up right where the last one left off. Did you really expect an intellectually stimulating movie? Were you thinking that it would have Oscar written all over it? Did you think that it would break down the truths of society and open your eyes to an incredible message? If so, then you are more retarded than Charlie. I got precisely what I came for: Two hours of laughter and a star studded cast. I loved the first movie and I thought this one was even better. If you don't like dumb comedies, go watch The Pianist.

Like you, I was not expecting any more than what is expected of these type of movies, but surprisingly I laughed quite a bit watching it and thought it was funnier than the first.

There was no need for the over the top retard. You don't go full retard.
I am done with comedies, it appears they can't make them without stupidity.

reply

Yeah... Even for this movie's "world" they were just too stupid in key situations. Anyone that stupid could not opperate in the regular world situations we seem them acting relatively normal in.

Too much "hey, wouldn't it be funny if...?" was being tossed around and the film lost credibility... A freaking comedy film lost credibility! Epic fail.

It had funny moments, I wasted some time. But this was below average for the most part... Too stupid.

It is passable, and I gave it a solid 5/10... a simple "pass" of 50% 'D'

I am the equal and opposite reaction!

It's kind of always been that way for the majority of them.

reply

Um, we're not expecting the movie to be intelligent, we're expecting it to be funny. It's possible for a movie to have dumb people or situations and yet be funny.

reply

Loved it better than the first! Laughed and laughed. Best scene was the hotel room. I died.

Part 1 overall was a better film

But I laughed my ass off watching part 2

Just wanted more ANISTON!!!!

reply

Plot wise the first one was better.
But this one was WAY funnier than the first imo.
Especially with the extended version.
Just finished watching it again on blu-ray and my head is killing me now from laughing too much. The love the type of humor they used for both movies. Little, subtle jokes with great delivery.
"You don't throw that bag at me, you slide it! Do it again!"...lol

My favorite scene was when Pine was dissing his maid.
Hilarious and just wrong..lol

I really don't get the hate for this. It's hilarious and way funnier than the first. I guess people had really high expectations for this.

reply

wrong. There were maybe two or three laughs, tops. Anniston was funny. Pine was AWFUL. No script-just proves you cant ad lib a movie!

reply

No doubt this movie was a turd. It had no redeeming qualities. I liked most of the cast, but they couldn't even make me want to finish this thing.

reply

I still think the movie was total crap. Stupid jokes that are funny for little children, but not for adults. Poor movie. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

reply

Well written. This movie is great. It's well written and the cast plays off each other perfectly. The movie was even better than I expected though.

I hate people who expect every movie to have some sort of message, a deep storyline that really makes you think. Is that honestly how you spend your lives?? This is like the kind of talk my best friend and I have but actually put into action! It's meant as a fun, funny, forget your worries movie and if you're open minded enough to enjoy it, you will.
