Anyone else think this was poorly constructed?

For someone with a limited knowledge of the Mexican political situation, I was told this was a film to check out that'd help fill in some gaps & give more context as to why people feel certain ways about PRI or PAN or PRD or whoever...

But, with such a limited knowledge, I found this movie ran through its history way too quickly, barely giving me a second to process the information & thus I'm left none-the-wiser after the viewing. All I really know is that people love Molotov (I don't get that either: homophobic and misoginst lyrics: yeah these guys really are champions of fairness) and don't like the politicians, regardless of the party they represent.

Interesting documentary, but very poorly constructed imo. Shame. I was hoping for so much more.

I disagree. I mean, where are you from? If you don't like the band you won't like the documentary...
Molotov is a band that fits in a cultural landscape that's been broken a thousand times. You can not expect a documentary that gathers a detailed and accurate description of Mexican history (including voices of those who disagree with the view portrayed by the director and the band) with that of a rock band that mostly challenges the hypocrisy behind a double-standard moral that naturalizes social inequalities.
