butchering kangaroo

why did the aborigine shoot the kangaroo if it was against the law to butcher and eat it? and I sure thought when they were arguing on her taking a radio, it surely would have been an HF transceiver.. not just a receier, it looked to just be a receiver any way in the movie

It was against aborigine law for a woman to butcher it. He stopped Robyn from doing it and did it himself. Later on when Robyn and Diggity discover a dead kangaroo, she cuts into it briefly, but then stops herself, out of respect for Mr. Eddy and aboriginal law.

I think it was because it was against the law for a *woman* to butcher and eat it. That's why he stopped her and went ahead with it himself.

There's men's business and there's women's business. The butchering falls under MB.🐭
