What happened to the dog?

She woke up in the middle of the night and found her dog eating poison , she then kills the dog, what did it eat?

reply

Please, would you put SPOILERS in the title of your thread - you've got a big one in your OP. The dog ate strychnine, they showed the bottle laying on the ground and they showed earlier some dead dingos who had eaten the same poisoned carcasses (it was intended for the dingos).

reply

In the story it was supposed to have ingested strychnine. I doubt if it's true in real life though, because the area was so vast. More likely that the misguided actions of the animal abusing protagonist led to the death of the dog, and she dreamt up an excuse. She was an animal abuser.

I think you are an pompous ass. But then that is just my opinion.

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else

You are an American idiot who knows nothing about Australia.

A dingo ate my puppy!

Hey, don't dump the idiot on us! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ He's simply a moron who knows nothing about real life and death. Obviously also doesn't understand the definition of animal abuse.

You are delusional. Davidson loved her kelpie and she did the right thing to shoot it to end its suffering when it ate poison left by people poisoning dingoes for the bounty.

War is Gods way of teaching Americans geography!

A dingo bait laced with strychnine.

reply

The dog eating poisoned dingo bait indeed happened in real life. Robyn always put a muzzle on him at night, but took it off him that night for a reason I can't remember. I think he was whining nonstop and Robyn just wanted to sleep.

reply

I did not catch the part about the muzzle on him at night, but an hour after watching this movie it still brings me to tears. He was all she had in the world.
I could not leave my dog behind and it broke my heart that she had to shoot him to put him out of his misery. You have to know when to do what's best for your pet and she did.

I hate movies where the dog dies and I hadn't read the book.

I hate movies where the dog dies ...
Being an animal lover so do I, but it happened IRL, just as depicted. Diggity took a bait.🐭
