So who is the loser?

Maybe it's just me, but I didn't think any of the husbands could be considered a loser. They both had successful jobs, married with children. If anyone was a loser, it was Stamos' character. A guy in his 50s who sleeps with 20 year old women and is months behind on his mortgage? If anyone can be called a loser, it'd be him.

I think that was the point. When you put it in "perspective" it was the Stamos character that really had a pretty empty life. He says as much to his brother in law.

All your other points notwithstanding I fail to see how a guy in his 50's sleeping with 20 year old makes him a loser. That makes him a winner in my book.
