Mather Zickel couldn't take on season 2 because he had signed on to the new sitcom "Bad Judge". With Kate Walsh, incidentally... That show was cancelled, which makes it even more frustrating.
His absence from season 2 of Newsreaders was in my opinion very noticeable; I like Alan Tudyk but he didn't fit that position at all in the same way that Zickel did.
IMDb-boards would be less confusing if people would mark their signatures clearly.
Do we for sure know that season 2 was the last season of Newsreaders?
shareI have no idea really, can't seem to find anything about it at the moment. I certainly hope there's a third, but it's clearly not a very high-profile show with much buzz. On the plus side, I'm betting it's relatively cheap to produce.
