I read an interview with Johnnie To where he was talking about how he dealt with censors in mainland China. He said that he thought they'd object to the lethal injection, but though they were fine with that, they were actually had him take out the female police officer, Yang Xiaobei (Huang Yi) watching it through the one-way mirror because there is a separation between an officer upholding the law and acting on it.
Anyway, this made me think...I can't remember what happened to her. Did she survive? I could've sworn she got run over and killed. Does anyone remember?

There two female cops, both got hit by the car driven by Louis Koo. One (not Huang Yi) got run over by the other guy (Cheung Siu-Fai). Huang Yi was shot twice by Louis Koo. She was still alive when Sun Honglei carrying her, but not moving on the ground when he went after Louis Koo. The movie didn't really say she alive or not, but judging everyone else is dead I assume she didn't make it.

She died. Good riddance. I disliked her and Jimmy the weisel most of all.
