French BLURAY shows they had courage in making the movie

The French Bluray (English subtitles on feature not extras) of this beautiful and inspirational movie shows that the film-makers and cast had so much more courage than the Canadians who made ALL IS LOST. If you watch the extras on the ALL IS LOST DVD or BD you will see that Redford spent most of his time in a big water tank on a stage sound. In contrast EN SOLITAIRE AKA TURNING TIDE was shot out at sea in serious waves and weather the crew had real courage.

I've just finished watching it, and it is without a doubt,exceptional.No matter how thin the plot, the acting is top notch, and the scenery breathtaking.I haven't seen the blu ray but it feels like you're right there in the boat racing
along in the high seas.It sure felt like the actors were being placed in jeopardy to get the shot.François Cluzet, the lead shows up in many French films and gives an amazing performance.
