The ones that Sarah thought might have killed Jessie? Were they just supposed to be obsessed fans and a red herring? I just thought there would be more to the story than it being Julian.

Julian always seemed to be a bit unhinged, but it wasn't until ep5 that I really began to see how bad things were with him.

Before he shot himself, he muttered something like 'I couldn't keep my hands off her',lamenting his actions. I inferred his guilt from this.
share...and what he was saying to the maid/waitress was what he had written in the note he had handed to her just seconds before he first aimed the gun at the unsuspecting crowd of diners, then turned it on himself.
