What happened to Erica Hill

I watched this show a few times last summer, and bits of it this past fall (I normaly watch Good Morning America), and the third anchor was Erica Hill last summer, but this fall she was gone, replaced by Norah O'Donnell. Norah was on CBS Evening News prior to coming to CBS This Morning, as the chief White House correspondant. But I have often wondered since this fall, what happened to Erica Hill, why did she leave CBS This MOrning and was replaced?

Erica was demoted and Norah O Donnell got the anchor spot. I heard some reports that Erica was having trouble adjusting to the new format of the show and she was having trouble knowing her story when interviewing people. Erica was demoted to a CBS Correspondent while she was still there but she did not want to put in any work as a correspondent and she parted ways with CBS.

They got Norah O' Donnell because she knows about politics and worked as a White House Correspondent.

Erica Hill is now a Weekend Today anchor at NBC.
