I just did a binge watch of all 8 episodes this weekend and found it charming and heartwarming. I don't know how popular the show is in the UK but we're missing programming like this in the US. Even the dramas on our ABC Family network aren't for the whole family.

I think they really got it right with the D-Day episode and the rest that followed had great moments. Maybe it put people off that eps 2-4 felt inconsequential. But I'm glad it's coming back.

Agreed. Really loving this through series 2 as well. Charming, surprisingly funny and is beginning to stand out among other similar attempts at this sort of family show.
