Complete rip-off of Packed to the Rafters!!!

everything is a rip off of something.

but being english cant say ive ever heard of packed to the rafters, so its new to me.

ive watched all 3 episodes so far in one go today - its not bad, not much else on tv these days that makes me want to quit it though.

ill give it the full 8 episodes, im a fan of steve edge, im not one of matt king though.

IdreamofTV - Son who won't grow up.
Elderly dad moves in because he can't fend for himself.
Kids are almost out of the house but then things happen and a baby is added to boot.
Long lost half brother.
They added some things to make it look original like the cute bi-racial baby daddy.
The only reason why this would not be considered a blatant rip-off is because PTTR has a lot of eye candy and the scenery in Australia is beautiful.

I have to agree with you. A friend in Oz sent me the original Australian series.

This series is definitely based on the Oz one and it annoys me that they do this. Aren't there enough original ideas out there they can turn into TV/Film?? It's not as obvious as say, 'Broadchurch' and 'Gracepoint.' That is one series they should definitely have left as is!!
