I don't get it

Maybe I'm too old. It does nothing for me. Just a bunch of generation Y's saying random stuff. What happened to structure?

Give it another look. Your comment on structure is, IMO, exactly what's so brilliant about it! Life isn't structured. Sure, we try to make it that way but, *beep* happens. I mean, *beep* happens like all the time.
My spouse and I are probably (based-on demographics) too old to enjoy this as well but, guess what...we love it! And we're solidly in the X Generation.
Josh and company are remarkably "real"; possibly the most "real" cast of characters I've had the pleasure to watch.

Agree. Life is pretty much a meandering series of non-events - not much really happens in the scheme of things. This show captures that perfectly.

I'm not someone who usually likes "experimental" type shows, but rmoriarty97 is exactly right: "Life is pretty much a meandering series of non-events. This show captures that perfectly." I can see why note everyone would like it, but I think it is an excellent show.

I'll be 60 in a couple of weeks and I think this is one of the best shows I've seen in years. I don't think it has anything to do with age. Some people just prefer situational comedy while others prefer more character driven material.
