Why are all the property owners ...

always a bunch of dicks?

I'd be a dick too if some strange Fat Thug came knocking on my door making claims that they're professional collector hunters seeking treasure. If these guys had an iota of professionalism they'd seek out more formal channels of communications, just like the energy company or cable company does when they pay you a visit. With all of the fraud and home invasion robberies happening nowadays it's no wonder to me why the homeowners would be wary of these guys.

Well, I was also referring to the ones who have already allowed him to dig. My point is, with cameras already in place on these people's front porches and the threats not seeming authentic, it just leaves an awful scripted feeling. I personally believe that all of them have been contacted in advance and asked if they wanted to be on the show. Probably paid them a little too. It's always amazing how the last land owner just happens to have the "perfect" location to dig. So, I'm thinking they are dicks because the producers asked them to be a little over the top. Like with the Chicago PD, I think they were called there by the producers to give the show a little drama. With that said, I wish they'd cut the crap and just concentrate on digging because I really do quite enjoy that aspect of the show.

It's probably both, and the stint in Chicago with the cops looked fake to me.

Its sooooo god damn fake and the whole Boom Baby thing is retarded.

Man this party is like an orgy at a campsite......its ***king in tents.

It only seems like the last land owner just happens to have the "perfect" location because of editing. The scene at the perfect location might have actually been at the first couple of places, but was rearranged in editing to put the jackpot location scene at the end of the sequence.

"That mans' nuts!!! Grab 'em!"

Looks like scripted drama to me. Besides, their faces can't appear on tv unless they sign an agreement.

reply

Exactly. If you agree to participate in one of these bogus reality shows, you have to sign an agreement. After that, you do whatever they want you to do.

Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental
