The pregnant lady

I was on another tread asking if any of these people have medical insurance just in case they catch something from dumpster diving and eating others' leftovers. But I thought of this lady and her husband who made their own breastpump and furnished their home with junkyard furniture. will she go to the hospital to deliver or have her husband help her deliver @ home to save on medical bills? Does she have state medicaid? Hmmmm....

I'm watching the episode right now. It's grossing me out. And I'm sure they'll try to haggle their medical bills too. If they're even going to worry about paying them.

I saw that episode tonight. When they showed the shot of the living room, dining room and kitchen, I thought "that actually looks nice". If they did all of that for free, then more power to them. I thought the baby's nursery looked ridiculous, and it was downright deceptive of her to ask for paint samples when she knew darn well she would not be returning to buy paint. She said she'd already hit up several paint stores, too. How much money did she spend on gas driving to all these paint stores? She could have spent that money on a gallon of paint.

She definitely spent more money on gas than she would have one gallon of paint. A lot of paint stores will have "Oops!" aisles - basically when they mixed up a color and it didn't come out just right, so the cans are marked significantly lower ($5-10 dollars less). A gallon of paint is what, $20 bucks - say you get a can of paint off the aisle of colors that didn't come out perfectly and spent $10. That's probably about half (or even less) of what that lady spent driving around.
