Washing car windows with cola.

Wouldn't that make them sticky? If you washed it off afterward then it wouldn't, but it didn't seem he did.

Vinegar and water are cheap and wash windows pretty well. (I have some cheapskates in my family, though not at this level.) I agree about the stickiness. Don't get me started about what he used to wipe the windows with. I wonder how many people, after seeing this show, will entrust their vehicles to this man.

After seeing him sleep in vehicles and put all of his stuff in them, I'm betting he'll loose some business.

Newspapers are free (if you get the free weeklies or just pick up papers people leave behind) and do a *great* job of cleaning windows. Much better than cloth or pads.

Newspaper with vinegar & water is the best way to clean windows - any true cheapskate knows this - the pads & cola were clearly just for the show.

That used to be true, back when ink was ink.

But most newspaper printers have now switched to plant-based inks. They say it's to help the planet but the truth is they're cheaper.

Unfortunately they no longer clean effectively the way newspapers used to.
