To the reviewer featured on the page and any potential viewer...

To the reviewer who stated that culturally different humor is a problem, your examples are wrong and you display your ignorance by your understanding of Japanese pronunciation.

The audience does not laugh because his name is an alliteration. They laugh because the girl responded in such a profound and ridiculous manner. Alliteration is not funny in Japan and names such as those starting with *beep* Yuk, and Aso are pronounced Foo-k, Yoo-k, and Ah-so--not the vulgar terms you are referring to. Also, rhymes are a common occurrence in Japan. Whether or not they are funny is dependent on the content (as is elsewhere).

Though the majority was smart enough to disregard your very ignorant attempt at understanding a rather beautiful, yet un-fulfilling film, it is still very unfortunate that your ignorant review is plastered on the page designated for this film whereas ~25% of readers actually found your words helpful.

To the potential viewer wondering if you should watch this film, if you love cinematography and the art of storytelling, you will love this movie. If you were, at some point in your life, a social outcast, you will relate to and very likely love this movie. If you love movies that make you reminisce of collegiate life, you might love this movie. If you hate the idea of quirky, nerdy people and can't wrap your mind around them, you will probably burn this DVD 5 minutes into the movie.

Regardless, of your demographic, you will loathe the ending as it provides little closure.
