I was flipping channels and came across this and recognized the Red SPD Ranger and decided to watch, this show has a lot of former teen actors, still trying to play teens lol.

They're not really still trying to play teens.They say the main character, the girl he likes and I'll also assume his best friend, are 26 several times throughout the episode.

It was a 2-hour pilot.Both Alphas and Three Inches were being developed at the same time and Syfy decided to go with Alphas.
They had the pilot lying around, so I guess they decided to air it.Not sure if it could lead to a series, though.
