Too many characters.

Did anyone else get a crowded feeling from this show?I mean, they're supposed to be on a stealth mission to retrieve "the package" and they've got 7 characters just standing around in one place.

That team needs to be downsized or some people need to stay at the base or in the van while the others go inside. Also, it's a little problematic that they actually need the individual abilities of 6 different people(7 counting the powerless team leader) to pull off something as simple as breaking into a facility.

You've got the team leader guy who is good with guns and is a fighter, your main character has to open the locks, the Asian woman has to mimic the voice of the other guard, the professor guy had to release the moths? to distract the guy guarding the entry, the woman who could manipulate feeling had to take out some guards, the smells guy had to take out the other guards when they were overpowered and the guy who could see into the future had to prevent them from being shot by the very last guard.

That's way too many people who only have nonlethal, close-range abilities breaking in a facility with armed security. It was really awkward.

Then you add James Marsters as the boss, the main character's mother, his best friend and the girl he loves. That's 11 characters. And if it felt crowded in a 2-hour pilot, how would it be in a regular episode?
