Fantastic film...

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed watching the film at the screening the beginning of this month and to say to anyone out there reading this that its one of the better independent zombie films I've seen, the way the story follows a central theme and builds in the three stories around it is very well done. The way that the film protrays zombies with what resembles emotion again is very clever and except for a few films in the past hasn't really been tackled (in fact the only ones I've seen that I can remember are day of the dead where the doctor teaches his zombie pet (bub I believe) to do things and the way that Bub reacts to the doctor being killed and also the way that the petrol attendant in one of Romeros later films land of the dead reacts to humans killing zombies is another one). The effects are ace and the make up artists did a fantastic job and the camera work and music also betray the films very low budget origins.
Going to cut this short but basically what I'm saying is that if you get a chance to see this film at one of the festivals it will be showing at then grab the chance while you can its well worth it. I think personally that we should back independent film makers such as Safehouse UK more in this country, there's a lot of talent out there and unfortunately very few of them seem to get their work seen due to the big budget blockbusters. The Morters and everyone involved really deserve a round of applause for this film, they've done a great job :)

(The music is great, really reminds me of some of the older zombie films back in the 70s/80s)

You may now discuss :D
