On Netflix

8 Episodes on Netflix so there is always a chance if it is popular for more seasons as Netflix Originals

I just came across HEARTLESS on Netflix and I absolutely love the series! The Story lines are excellent, and I was captivated with the entire production. It held my interest, which says a lot about any series. The two leads play great off one another as struggling siblings trying to love, and live a normal life. Supporting cast was superb as well. I'd love to see this series continue with new plot twists, as I'm definitely hooked on the brilliant cast and dark element trying to find a way to reach the light.

BRAVO to the enticing series! More please!

I don' get how this got on Netflix at all.

Before this was even a show, it had a 'Promo-episode' here in Denmark, where they asked people to give their verdict on the episode. If it was received well, they would make a full show of it.

...it didn't get received well - yet they chose to make a show anyway.

The show tanked. Massively. As predicted by the 'promo' - episode 4, only had 39.000 viewers ('Borgen', another Danish show, peaked at 1.7 Million viewers and 'Krøniken' peaked at 2.7 Million - where as 'Heartless' peaked at 78.000).
Poor acting (especially from Julie - she generally doesn't get many viewers to what she's in), as well and a very poor story (pretty much put together by what shows were popular at the time, and then 'rewritten' to Danish) and generally just a bad experience all together.

If Netflix wants to 'bet on this show', then it really needs to do well on Netflix, with this first season. I can't see them taking this task on. It's a dead show, to be honest.
