There's like no nutritional value in iceberg lettuce. I like it on burgers and tacos. That's about it.

great crunch for tacos. yep.

I don't even use it on burgers or tacos. Romaine tastes much nicer and can be shredded easily for tacos.

I always chuckle when I see "Lettuce Wedge Salad" on restaurant menus. Is that supposed to be fancy food? LMAO.

Nothing carries bacon and blue cheese dressing better than iceberg lettuce!!

Iceberg lettuce has been vilified in favor of kale and spinach lol

I still like iceberg lettuce!

I agree too - I love iceberg lettuce. I wish it had some nutritional content but at least it's not bad for you!

very refreshing in the summer too.

I love all kinds of lettuces. Iceberg is crunchy water but I pile it high on my plate. I add different veggies, some cheese and a balsamic vinaigrette.
I always think a nice salad helps round out a meal. It's something fresh and crisp to add when I'm eating foods with a soft texture like mashed potatoes. It's great to crunch into all those veggies in between bites of creamy foods.
I have to have different textures and tastes going on in every meal; salty and sweet, crunchy and soft, hot and cold. I like a good pucker, too. :)
