When I first watched this...

I gave it a 7 in the star ratings on here. When I sat down and wrote a review, I gave it an 8. The 2 main characters have a fantastic career ahead. I was fully convinced they were brothers, though they are not. The movie kept me engaged from beginning to end, even if there were acting problems with the minor characters. It doesn't have to be 'pretty' and 'sleek' to be good. I gave 'Haunt' a 3/10. This movie had a lot less money and no names and I give it an 8. You will think about it long after you see it. It has longevity and I see it becoming a Horror classic. Some have said it is not 'Horror', that it is 'Drama'. They are absolutely incorrect. If you feel horrified and you see horrifying things and there is enough slash/gore and simulated snuff to give the MPAA a seizure, it IS Horror. That is the bottom line and I see this movie making a lot more money and it's stars-Gavin Brown and Ethan Philbeck (possibly a couple of the other actors--the chunky friend, the mom the pastor, possibly even the Dad) moving along in their careers.
