Slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Interesting documentary and I certainly sympathize with the man. But did they really have to film every single dead silence with him? There were a LOT. I understand that probably he was slow talking about it because it was hard for him to re-live those memories and maybe the filmmaker was trying to highlight that but I just found myself impatiently twirling my finger, waiting for him to say the next thing. Just think it could have been edited down. The filmmaker must have just left it to add filler to the film.

I totally agree - far too many pregnant pauses.
Another thing I would like to know is, how the guards ended up in South Korea too. It was a story half-told really. It was fascinating but, not pieced together very well.

Yeah totally agree. I don't mind films and documentaries moving slowly for a reason but it seemed really unnecessary, I don't see what it added. Very interesting story all the same.
