I know this show is fake, but I'd like to share my observations

1. How is it possible we're able to hear what the waiters and customers are saying who aren't in on the sting? They're obviously all miked and know it's a show

2. In the episode where the waiter is giving alcohol to college girls without IDs, at the end of the episode, you can see he's wearing an ear piece

3. Even if you have employees who are stealing from you, it's highly unlikely they all do it every day, let alone on the day you decide to install hidden cameras

#3 is what always got me. Do you happened to catch 2-3 employees who were robbing you blind? If this WAS real a legitimate business owner would notice right away that huge amounts of crap is missing

I don't care that it's fake. I enjoy the show. It's pure entertainment for me. I don't take television seriously, even the documentaries. They are just some person's view of the events.

You can watch two DOCUMENTARIES about the same event and they will be different. Go figure.

I always assumed this was shot over a couple days and just edited to seem like one evening/night. I'm back and forth on how staged it is however.

Did you actually have to contemplate this to figure it out? There isn't a reality show out there that has any legitimacy to it. You don't even need to watch this show to know it's fake. No observation needed.

Can you PLEASE tell me why people go to a forum about a show just to "observe" that the show is fake?

I enjoy it for what it is; a bit of entertainment. I HATE the people that "have" to nitpick a show and go out of their way to list everything that proves the show is fake. If they hate the show so much, stop f'ing watching it! Boom, simple!

If you like it, enjoy it for what it is; a silly TV show. If you don't like it, shut the hell up about it and CHANGE THE CHANNEL!

You forgot:

4. Why would anyone caught sign a release form allowing their face to be plastered all over the screen if they were really doing all that stuff. Even every customer agrees to sign the release form and you know that there would be a few that wouldn't agree to sign it even if they were just in the place.

5. It says in the end credits that "scenes are reenacted for dramatic purposes"

Of course the show is staged! But I still watch it sometimes. The only time I stopped watching an episode was when during the preview they were doing some ghost hunting.

Absolutely! I've been watching since Season 2. I tried to watch Season 1 but it just didn't hold my interest although I knew the general rules and houseguests.

Season 2 got me hooked.

See you in the BB forum in a few months! I understand it starts on June 24 with a two-day move in. So I guess half will move in one day and the other half the next day.

Looking forward to it.

This show is fake? Oh boo hoo. That is so disappointing. Most of the fun of watching this show was seeing what those crooked employees were going to do. And the sheer audacity they had to do it. So it turns out they're actors? Oh poop! But it figures. 😢

This show is obviously fake, but it's just so bad that it's good.

Another way to tell that this show is fake is when anyone orders beer. Usually they just tell the waiter/waitress they want "A beer." There are a million brands of beer, anyone ordering a beer is going to have a particular brand loyalty. Bud Light, Corona, Heineken, etc. they aren't going to say "I want a beer," they're going to say: I want a <brand name>
