Was anyone annoyed with the episode...

Keep in mind, I am writing this under the pretext that this show MIGHT BE real:

Anyone else annoyed with the episode that the woman owned a beach side restaurant and she was worried there was a boating delivery business she hadn't approved of. She suspected there was and that her manager was up to it. So they do the "sting" and sure enough the manager and the lead cook ARE doing it and are clearly pocketing the money. Yet, when she confronts them, not only does she let them get away with it, but decides they ought to go ahead and do the boating delivery business! I'm sorry, why did this dumb owner even bother contacting Charles Styles?! Her manager and her lead cook were clearly stealing from her, but she ignored it.

Restaurant owners like that seriously deserve to go out of business.

reply

No they weren't, she knew what was going on but it's all an act to get their restaurant showcased on TV.

They weren't stealing, though. They rang up the orders and put the money in the till--that was clearly shown, and discussed. The service/delivery charge of $10 went to the delivery guy to pay for fuel and his time/effort.

They were running an unauthorized delivery service, but they weren't actually stealing anything from her. The delivery service was something they'd been discussing with her but she hadn't done it yet, and the manager and cook started it on their own to show her that it could work. They did it to help her and the restaurant, basically, which was why she didn't fire them and agreed to keep doing the deliveries.
