S9E11 'Cabin Fever'

Before lodging my formal complaint I should note I know it's "fake", (as evidenced by the fact that my kid, who is autistic and has difficulty discerning sarcasm and humor, immediately turned to me and said, "This can't be real, Mom!"). We watch it to make fun of it, (and to practice telling when someone is reading lines versus speaking naturally).
That all said, they're finally starting to piss me off with Charles' version of "the law". This season has focused on "being more authentic (!)", and includes things like people being "arrested". In this episode they go to the trouble of explaining how they can't "wire" hotel rooms as this would be "an invasion of privacy", yet in the very next scene, they're "intercepting text messages" between unsuspecting people who I'm pretty damn sure would have some expectation of privacy in real life. I'm just waiting for some idiot business owner to start following his employees with drones and tapping their cell phones. That would be a great show, on Court TV.
