Seriously though, did this scene come out of nowhere for anyone else? I mean, the lead/daughter had sex with her boyfriend and we didn't really see much and the same goes for her shower scene. In fact, when they finished, they magically have underwear/shirts already on! Seeing the hot babysitter topless for a good ten seconds was pretty jolting for *this* film (obviously not the genre). At least it led to the hilarious juxtaposition of the maniac in the attic going back and forth between the sex and the kid playing with the paintball gun.
1.) Yes, he overpaid, BUT the character was a virgin. He's at a peak where you're constantly horny. He was attracted to her. Plus, it wasn't his money. It was a combination of all those things as to why he offered so much money.
2.) She wouldn't risk a sex offense. The character had to be of legal age to be featured in a scene in which there was nudity (hers). I'm not 100% versed in this law, but it's now against the law to have a minor character (even if the actor is of legal age) in a sex scene that features nudity.
