The Blonde hair

I must confess I wasn't concentrating 100% on this movie on the first watch (so far) of it (nothing to do with this quality movie, rather I was having a sickie from work and was ill and trying to do some work at the same time too via email...).

But why the blonde hair/wig for Eve at the end and at the concert? Maybe it was mentioned in the film and I missed it on a first viewing. My mind immediately thought of how incredibly hot she looked in "Sucker Punch" with blonde hair, and they wanted to recreate that incredible look here too? But if so, why didn't she have blonde hair through out the film then?

"But I have infinite tenderness for you. I always will. My whole life."

One of Eve's song lyrics makes reference to being "made" a brunette when she was truly a blonde. Perhaps adopting the blonde wig was illustrating a desire to be
true to herself, returning to her roots (pun intended.) It is ironic since that hair was obviously fake but hey, in the music business, there is always some artiface.

The first lines of the song Eve sings answers the question: "I've dyed my hair/I'm not a brunette/I'm a down and dusky blonde.
