Audrey had been the one to survive and pull the stunt,

Of course, change a few things around, like Laurel living with her father and all. But it would have been nice to see the wild, mean, homewrecking girl try to fill the shoes of the timid, insecure one. Perhaps to run.away from a mess she made in her own life.

Thats just me though, perhaps because I found Audrey more pleasant to watch.

I saw this story in a movie or crime drama episode somewhere. After a murder, questions start coming up about the girl involved. Turns out her goody-two-shoes sister was killed in an accident, and she took over to run away from her life.

Didn't get to see the transition though.

I agree that I'd like to see this done well. Usually when a show portrays a pygmalion story they're unrealistic - making silly mistakes that no rational person would make.
