I woulda identified the brit as well, but my short term memory sucks, so i soon forgot about her after she was shown in the first scene
I didn't know that was meant to be a plot twist. I thought the idea was that their meeting was meant to be an amazing coincidence and that Jon Bernthal had "lost" Ben Affleck at some point in his life. I felt a sense of awkwardness and then relief towards the end, so it felt cathartic that way. I'm glad I didn't know it was a plot twist, because I don't think I would have known how to feel about it.
shareWell, since a plot twist is "a radical change in the expected direction or outcome of the movie", I would say that this is a plot twist. Everyone expected these guys to shoot it out.
