Did the synopsis for this movie just give away the entire story?

Apparently they got summary confused with synopsis. Usually, the synopsis does tell everything, instead of a brief description in a summary.

The one good thing about this movie is it's creepy, menacing look and atmosphere.

Sometimes there was a real sense of evil and depravity with the killers tormenting their victims and getting away with it. The buildings in the movie were weird. It was like everything was shot in abandoned buildings.

The first room you went into (be it home, restaurant, police station--almost anything!) might look OK, but the rest would run the spectrum from noticeably run down to condemned or just plain unfinished. This oddly contributed to an atmosphere of a world where everything is falling apart.

The acting was bad but sometimes passionate. I'm used to bad acting in B movies. But the way the story was told was confusing and I'm into non-linear, postmodern or surreal material.

The basic story idea was extremely simple of course, but it was usually hard to get any sense of the character's motivations besides one-word descriptions like "revenge" or "sadism". Characters and subplots came and went randomly.

I felt like I was watching a bunch of random, unedited footage from a passable low budget horror film.
