What do Americans really think of British women ?

I've noticed in American TV they are always depicted as aloof, frustrated, uptight, control freaks.

And this movie was a good example.

Please don't equate Travers--be it in fictional or realistic guise--to actual human women. It's an insult to all womankind. Hell, it's an insult to human beings regardless of gender.

One woman. P.L .Travers. She was portrayed with her known personality traits, she certainly didn't represent all British women!
