I think this will crack the top 250 once it reaches 25,000 votes

Even though I'm aware that IMDb takes some things into account when deciding whether or not a film is eligible for the top 250, like the presence of regular voters, I still have a strong feeling that Wolf Children will crack the list once it reaches 25,000 votes as it currently stands at a 8.2 rating with 15,000+ votes.

I will appreciate another Anime film getting some recognition, because as much as I adore the works of Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli, it will be nice to see at least one non-Ghibli/Miyazaki Japanese animated film get some attention when people view the list across the world. The only other non-Ghibli/Miyazaki Anime film that has been on the top 250 recently is Akira, but that hasn't solidified itself on the list yet as it has been jumping on and off lately, whereas I believe Wolf Children will be on there for quite a long time.

I truly think Wolf Children deserves a placement as I consider it to be one of the best animated films of all time and Mamoru Hosoda's best work to date (I can't see The Boy and the Beast beating it, even though it definitely looks promising).

Come on everyone, let's get this fantastic film on that list because I simply can't wait to see it on there!
