I still don't like Vega...

I mean, yeah, he seems like a good guy and all, and I'm surprisd they made him make the "bad" decision at the end, but this doesn't change the fact that in ME3 he's still some musclebound idiot I never use who's is obsessed with tattoos and spanglish.

Hey there, yeah the thing is before this movie came out u knew almost nothing about him. He is not an interesting companion to take with u in a mission, I never picked him for a mission and I wasn't interestin in his character until this movie. The more u progress in the game and the more you have conversations with him he hints small info about his background story, and when you know barely enough you realize he has been through something tragical, you never really had a glimpse of how tragic that experience of his was until this movie came to visualize it. I love this movie and it made me respect him even more, i got more interested in his character I took him with me on missions more and more because I respected him for what he had been through and it was interesting to know more of the hints of his background story. This movie made him my favorite. Mass Effect is about tough choices, what you individually think is the best possible outcome, sacrifice and gain. What James Vega had experienced with his squad is something no one should go through. He is very similar to Shephard. Shephard in the game you get to alot of hard choices but do you ever get to a serious choice like Vega's? No, you don't. Save a whole colony or save intel about the enemy?
Vega has a sad background and you better respect him for it. He wanted to make sure he would never have to suffer again so he joined the N7 program of earth's finest contribution of soldiers, and he was a fine soldier.
I loved this movie, it was so sad. I never expected him to loose paragon, but he did and the movie title speaks for itself.
