For people who have seen the movie, this one part left me thinking and trying to figure out why nothing happened to the people in Belfast, but the world track DID happen as predicted (perhaps a few hours late due to time zone differences in the place where the prediction was read from?).
shareIt was an interesting wrinkle. One character said he thought it was planted by the government to disprove the doomsday date. Another (the Jim Cramer type) speculated that they got the date right but the place wrong, citing a disaster in Bangladesh and what sounded from his description like a total news blackout from Brazil. I thought it might just be a bug in the program, which they weren't able to test. At least it gave Scott and Bell time to renew their friendship with Dillon.
