Topher Grace, underrated

The best parts of this movie were the scenes with Topher Grace--the quality of the movie just shot up each time he was onscreen. (Same with Phillip Baker Hall.) I think Grace is such a talent and is overlooked in Hollywood. Does he have some sort of stigma from the "'70's" show? I haven't seen it.

I never became too invested in the other characters, but I thought the lead was a doof. Marry that guy? Pffft, right.

I couldn't agree more. The fact that you wrote this over a year ago, cpoet, and I'm the only person to respond, unfortunately shows we are in a minority. Actually it probably means hardly anybody thought much of this movie. Even Topher Grace couldn't save it

Well, after a year, I'm a little foggy on this movie myself, but T. Grace continues to be underrated. Apparently he's a secret we're keeping just between the two of us.

Very late to this thread as I just watched this. It's weird 'cuz I've seen Topher Grace three times in the last week or so. This movie, the S3 Black Mirror ep, and Under the Silver Lake. I actually didn't recognize him in Silver Lake til well into the movie.

After a few leading man roles, he seems to be content doing character roles instead. He was probably the best thing about the otherwise forgettable Predators.
