Seriously Fun

Just popping in to say that yeah, although I've only seen the first two episodes so far, I have to say, overall I enjoyed them way more than most episodes of TF: Prime.

It had that lively, colorful sense of fun, didn't take itself seriously, and most importantly, the characters actually felt endearing, at least more so than the bore-fest crew of Prime. There was real conflict among the Autobots, and none of that forced "Lets make the 'Bots suddenly fight and then make up almost instantly!" crap. Even the humans didn't feel that bad.

And I don't want to be that guy, but... ahem, why the low rating? For a show meant for the preschool age-range, it isn't nearly as dumb as most would expect. What stupidity is has, the show balances out with entertainment value and being just a genuinely likable cartoon. Are people rating this based on how juvenile it looks on the surface, or what?

EDIT: Okay, after having watched another ep, and with Prime's recent drastic decline in the quality of its writing (IMO, of course), I think this show has just replaced it as my third favorite TF cartoon series.

OMG!

I really miss being excited to watch a show. With my toes all curled up in excitement while eating my cereal in the mornings. The last time that happened I was in my early 20's and got up at 5am to record transformers Amarda (I went back to bed afterwards *lol )

Then we got netflix and I got this!

It took me 2 eps to fall in love with it. I have also noticed that the rating for this has sky rocketed to 8/10 so not so bad!

And you are right, yes it has logic faults- namely that they are very big heavy robots that shouldn't be able to ride in a boat and in robot form they should be bigger. But I can overlook that, it what makes it so much fun because they do at least TRY to give reasonable explanations or use plot devices to make it work.

Unlike transformers animated -monster of the week and didn't work in my eyes as I though it was a waste of their time. This show works because all the stuff the robots do makes more sense and doesn't looks silly without weapons. I mean an axe for TF animated come on!

I know it would never happen but part of me wants to see megatron and starscream done in this adorable style :) I think this is a godsend to parents that want to introduce transformer magic to their kids.

Last note for this- I always feel happy after watching this show, its like a nice warm hug full of smiles <3
