Stop trying to force the phrase 'Noble!'

It's not working, and it is annoying to the point where a parent may switch the show off.
At the very least, have another character heckle Cody mercilessly for using such a lame catchphrase.

It's no more annoying than any other animated or live action saying or phrase a character says. Noble is used has a good phrase. Besides he's a kid/tween who has his own saying..what fictional or real life kid/tween doesn't have one. I did as a kid and most people (even adults ) have one nowadays. I'm a parent who has been a die-hard Transformer fan since G1 and I don't mind it. I love this show. I got hooked it on through netflix and even bought season 3 through amazon, so I can watch each episode when it's new.

My son doesn't watch it because he's not into the Transformers Universe, but for those kids that do the saying isn't no more annoying than other kids shows that constantly say that have a character say that one phrase each episode. Even on Transformers Prime, they really used the phrase 'Scrap' alot. A lot. Decepticons, the Autobots, and the humans all used that one and it seemed it was used for any curse word you could mentally think of. Whether people used it or not, didn't matter.

It fit the characters that used it or the situation they felt needed that phrase. The phrase or nay phrase used in the Transformers universe or and fictional universe isn't hurting or killing anyone. If it annoys you that bad just put the show on mute during Cody's scenes or anytime you feel the word is going to be used. It's not that bad. Just let it go and enjoy the show.

I agree with you Marmooset I find it annoying too and quite unnecessary, saying cool would suffice.

I wonder if this is a word american kids use nowadays? I remember (in Australia) my brothers using the word 'wicked' to mean cool. But they abridged it it 'wik'. I thought it was so stupid. But that happens with every generation.

I'm surprised that 'cool' is still used. I guess it was so ingrained in our culture that it never left.

What's worse than "noble" is "power up and energize". It sounds like a phrase used in an old Hasbro toy commercial that would be used in every commercial to sell their toys. HASBRO. STAHP. "Noble" is horrid, don't get me wrong. But "power up and energize" is something that will NEVER be cool for an Autobot to say, EVER.

Because "transform and roll out" was WWAAAYYY better. Noble as a catchphrase is fine, but has been poorly handled. Power up and energize however is always in proper context and works fine(despite being obviously gimmicky.)

I don't heard kids saying it at ALL... but I'm all alone in my house watching the show on Netflix... it's just the creators making a new 'slang' that's a small tribute to Beast Machines more than likely. I'm almost finished with season 4. And hate to admit as an adult I've really enjoyed this little show and all the subtle G1 references... from the boom box at the fire house looking like Soundwave. The references to Starscream, Unicron, insecticons, and Decepticons (which I thought we'd NEVER see in this show! and we FINALLY did - sort of). The Lad Pioneer leader driving a jeep that looks like Swindle. And tons of other references... the writing is akin to Beast Wars where the stories and humor outweigh the lack of characters. Yet with all the reoccurring characters they've had on the island I can't really say that can I. I never knew the black kid who resembles Urkle (without suspenders) was the Mayor's assistant! And then was a prominent character when Chase became mayor! All the stories that have happened from previous seasons have been coming back with a vengeance. The R.I.D. cross over and so much other ideas. Yeah, it's somewhat a slow 'kids' show, but the whole attitude of all the personalities have really been the icing on this TF cake. And made this show worthy of a live action movie I'd have to say. That would be awesome to cast the island characters with actors, bring in a REAL Decepticon or two... you're not stuck on G rated TV, so bring a little shoot'em up action to Griffin Rock. Just keep the language clean, just like the show. Use the same voice actors for the bots and we'd have a great movie/ or movie arc with the Rescue Bots (Heck they could transform cooler too) just make it live action and bring in some decent action. If they didn't want to connect it too closely to the show, they could at least bring back Dr Morocco and have him try and partner with a few Decepticons to geet rid of the Rescue Bots once and for all while still letting the entire island KNOW they are all Autobots and 'aliens'. It could work, and could be one of the better live action movies possibly... maybe have Prime make a 'cameo' near the end of something. Ever since I've been hooked on this silly show... a live action movie is almost a no-brainer.

And the best part, they do NOT try to treat the audience like dumb 6 year olds like a certain other trilogy did. I did not make it past the first dozen episodes of Armada... yet I heard that 'Cybertron' was ok... but how many episodes did it take for Unicron to transform?? Really??? Took him about 10 seconds in the '86 movie.

I don't seem to recall kids saying Transform and Roll Out either, but these aren't intended to be mimicked quotes. Just fun character lines. Lines like, "zoinks," "Tish French," "yabba dabba doo," or "NEWMAN!" These just help to give the characters more life. We all tend to say some words more than others("actually" is one of mine in real life), so fictional characters having something oft said just breaths that extra spark into them. The quirkier the phrase, the more it stands out.

I will miss having new episodes for the show. This has been one of the better Transformers series(I would place it fourth from the top of the ones I have seen.) I know it was aimed at a younger audience, but target demographics shouldn't limit quality of a show. Rescue Bots is one example of quality writing for a younger demographic. I can think of several shows aimed at ADULTS that had sophomoric and inept writing. I personally liked the focus on characters, continuity, and light hearted tone they set. It gives you a warm feeling when you watch it. I like being able to ENJOY the shows I am watching, and not question why I am watching a well written show that make me feel awful inside after seeing each episode. The handling of the citizens was nice in that these are fundamentally real people, but with a comedic look at them. Mayor Luskey is a more typical politician, not very knowledgeable but he means well, and very preoccupied with being reelected. Your typical Amoral reporter with Huxley Prescott. And the twist of Mrs. Neederlander having a heart of gold under her crusty exterior made her all the more enjoyable. What I love about it, is that none of these characters are villains, or heroes. They all have flaws, and strengths, and are properly realized people. The level of thought put into the characters started to surprise me after a while. Superficially they may seem like caricatures, but they are all thought out characters. Even the Mayor proved to be more competent at his job than we realized and it fit with everything we had previously seen with him.

I never knew the black kid who resembles Urkle (without suspenders) was the Mayor's assistant! And then was a prominent character when Chase became mayor!
That was Mr. Alper. It was never made clear what precisely his job was, but he serves on the city council and seems to be the undersecretary to the mayor. He also is part of a local band on Griffon Rock!

That would be awesome to cast the island characters with actors, bring in a REAL Decepticon or two
They did, season four episode twenty. I personally don't think bringing the Cybertronian war into the show proper would have been a good decision.
