When are these actors gonna throw in the towel?

I mean seriously. They've been washed up since 2005, all of these actors. Why even bother? They're quite pathetic in my opinion.

I hate to admit it but you may be right. At least half the cast was at one time or another on a successful tv series. I'm watching this right now on BET. Do you know if this was a direct to dvd/cable/on demand film?

QuietStorm, I thought you liked Jurnee Smollett?

I didn't care for the movie but I enjoyed seeing the actors.

@akim67,

Was Jurnee in it? She's the only one who still has a chance. At least she's young.

I'm sorry, I thought this board was for THE MARRIAGE COUNSELOR. That's move Jurnee is in. Both titles looked similar.

It is quite sad to these actors do a movie this low budget but, you gotta pay your bills some how. Also it seems like a lot of black actors have a harder time staying in the limelight anyways so most of them end up doing movies like this one.

Persia White hasn't really done anything since Girlfriends. Darin Dewitt Henson hasn't really done anything since Soul food, except for Stomp the yard in 2007. Jazmin Lewis, as pretty as she used to be, has never be relevant. Nobody even knows who she is, as well as Caryn Ward and Terry Vaughn has been washed up since The Steve Harvey Show in 2002. Well, she was in All of US and Meet the Browns but those shows were mediocre at best so I guess you have a point but at least they're trying and not giving up like most people would. Who knows, something significant to their career could be right around the corner for some of them. Like another poster said, they have to pay the bills and like any other job, this is the field that they've chosen.
